As a student at a Douglas J Aveda Institute, there is a vast array of scholarship opportunities you may be eligible for and apply to. Most scholarships require that you are a current student and have completed a certain amount of hours prior to applying; however, Douglas J occasionally holds scholarship competitions to students who do not have any formal training in the salon and spa industry.
In addition to the financial aid options found on our website, there are many scholarship opportunities available to our students. In general, students must be currently enrolled in school prior to applying for these scholarships. Below is a list of reputable scholarship programs affiliated with the cosmetology industry. If you do not have access to a printer and would like to fill out an application, contact your Admissions Coordinator.
NCEA - March 1, June 1, September 1 and December 1 deadlines. Open to esthiology students who are currently enrolled - midway training with an 80% attendance and grade average. Multiple $1000 awards available. Application and essay required. Find out more www.ncea.tv.
