DIY Wedding Hair During Coronavirus Pandemic
10/19/2020
As couples globally face the COVID-19 pandemic, taking the right actions and navigating this ever-evolving scenario has many becoming DIYers. Weddings has changed from large indoor venues to intimate outdoor backyard weddings.
For our DIYers, taking on the challenge to create your special day is nothing new to you. Creating centerpieces, bouquets, invitations but how about when it comes to hair? Want the look of an updo without all the fuss? Believe it or not there are many ways to achieve an at home updo in minutes!
First you will want to start with curled or wavy hair. If you don’t have naturally curly hair you can achieve this with a flat iron or curling iron. Once you have curled your hair, start by taking the sides of your hair up and simply pull it back using a pony tail holder. Make sure the pony tail isn’t too high —about two-thirds down your head right where it starts to curve.
Create a tiny hole at the top of the pony tail and flip the ends through. Using your fingers like pinchers, pull and loosen some of the hair making it less tight. Repeat this process with a second ponytail right above the first one.
After a few rounds of practice, you can feel confident in creating the perfect updo for your wedding day!
