Plasma skin resurfacing with the Subnovii Plasma Pen is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that reduces fine lines and wrinkles, diminishes scars and blemishes, and tightens and tones the skin. Also known as “fibroblasting,” or “fibroblast therapy,” the Subnovii creates a plasma stream of ionized gas to stimulate tissue remodeling and the production of collagen. This results in natural rejuvenation for younger, tighter, smoother looking skin.

What to expect:
The Subnovii devices emits energy that instantly directs it to a precise spot on your desired skin area. A sealed wound is created and shock delivered to the tissue below to stimulate fibroblast activity which stimulates collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The tip of the device never actually touches your skin but it’s the power of molecular physics that gives this treatment its magic. Because the plasma device creates an instant wound on the skin, small scabs will form. The scabs are a natural and protective barrier to the magic taking place below.
Because the treatment area is immediately sealed, there is a very low risk of side effects but the skin may feel tight and itchy as the area heals. Once the scabs fall off, the skin beneath may look pink. This is renewed skin and any redness should progressively fade.
You will receive specially formulated post-care products and instructions to keep the area dry to help with the healing process. It is important to use sun protection long after treatment and incorporate this into your daily skincare routine.
Most individuals will be a candidate for this procedure; however, some skin types may be at risk of post procedure pigmentation issues. We will review all of this during your consultation and recommend the appropriate procedure for your skin type.
