Earning Points and Benefits as a You Rewards Member
Members of the Douglas J You Rewards Program (“You Rewards”) earn points (“Points”) for every dollar spent on Eligible Purchases (as defined below). Points accrue when an invoice is closed using the Member’s Unique Profile ID at the time of purchase for both in-store and online Eligible Purchases. Under the You Rewards Program, “Eligible Purchases” means purchases of services and gift cards. Members also have the ability to earn points for Referring New Douglas J Salon Guests, their services received and to periodically earn bonus points. Douglas J has the right to make the final decision on whether a purchase qualifies for Points (or an action qualifies for bonus Points) under the You Rewards Program.
Enrollment into the You Rewards Program is automatic once the invoice is closed for the guest first appointment.
Points will post to Member’s Account within 48 hours from in-store or online purchases. No adjustments to Member’s Account will be made after 90 days from the actual purchase date.
Point calculations are based upon dollars spent at checkout on Eligible Purchases less any dollars spent on sales tax, shipping charges, delivery charges, restocking fees, rebates applied at the time of purchase, the dollar amount of available mail-in rebates at the time of purchase of any product or service.
Members do not earn Points for the amount of any Reward redeemed or discounts applied to an Eligible Purchase. Members only earn points with purchases made by Cash, Credit or Debit Cards. When Members return services Points previously posted to Member’s Account for that purchase will be deducted from Member’s Account. Other exclusions may apply. Points apply only to the Unique Profile ID used for qualifying purchases and/or actions. Points and Rewards have no cash value and are nontransferable, except as specifically permitted in connection with certain promotions.
Douglas J is not responsible for communications, including Rewards, lost due to communication issues including change of address or other contact information. Points that remain on Member’s account one (1) year from the date earned will be forfeited. If the You Rewards Program is terminated or the Member’s account is closed, any remaining earned Points will be forfeited. In the event that a Member returns merchandise that was partially or wholly paid for with a Reward(s), the Reward(s) used in connection with such a purchase shall not be reissued and no Points representing such Reward(s) shall be reissued to such Member’s Account. In these cases the Member forfeits the Rewards(s).
Douglas J reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the You Rewards Program at any time without notice. All Points and subsequent Rewards must be earned and used according to the terms and conditions of the You Rewards Program as of the date the Points are earned.
Points are not transferable and may not be combined among You Reward Members or conveyed by any means to anyone, including through a Member’s estate and may not pass to Members’ successors and assigns.
Redeeming Points Earned Under the You Rewards Program
For every 1 Point Members earn in the VIP Program, Members will be eligible to receive a Reward redeemable for $0.025 off the purchase of any eligible products or services at participating Douglas J Salon locations. Rewards are automatically added to Member’s account and Points are automatically deducted for every Reward used. Multiple Rewards earned at the same time are automatically combined in Member’s account.
Rewards may be used in conjunction with other Rewards and most other discounts or offers toward the purchase of products, not to exceed purchase amount. Some exclusions may apply.
Rewards are not valid on prior purchases, products, purchase of Douglas J Gift Cards and eGift Cards or for tax or state fees. Rewards are not redeemable for cash and no change/currency will be given for Reward redemption. Members may be notified of additional ineligible products and services. Other restrictions may apply. Lost, stolen, or expired Rewards will not be replaced.
Except as provided for in the You Rewards Program, Rewards are not transferable and may not be combined among You Reward Members or conveyed by any means to anyone. Rewards are not transferable through a Member’s estate and may not pass to Members’ successors and assigns. Rewards do not constitute property of the Member.
